Why the name Tonto?
Apache is Tribe of Native American people inhabiting the southwest United States and northern Mexico, and incidentally Tomcat happens to be a rare variety of Cat found where the Apache tribe lives, and the forest area where both the Apache tribe as well as the Tomcat is found is called as the Tonto Forest Region. Hence the GUI Environment to edit the configuration files of Tomcat Web Server has been aptly named as Tonto.
